185NM Instant Start Ultraviolet Lamp in Very High (VH) lamp design, constructed in clear fused quartz for uninterrupted emission at 185 nm. Ozone lamps used in HVAC air sterilization systems eliminate foul odor and volatile organic compounds such as mercaptans, sulfides and ammonia. Ozone can be carried into places that direct UV radiation cannot reach to maintain fresh air quality with a deodorizing effect.

Instant Start Ultraviolet Lamp utilize a coil filament on each end which operates hot. Lamp life is governed by the life of the electrodes and is affected by the frequency of starting.

Instant Start Ultraviolet Lamp is well suited to applications requiring high ultraviolet intensity such as water disinfection, air purification in duct systems and conveyorized product disinfection. Available in Low Ozone and Ozone Producing versions.
